Lydia Bauman (studio F9) will be showing a wide variety of landscapes, recent gold leaf triptychs and small Yorkshire Studies just back from an exhibition ‘Art in Yorkshire from Turner to Hockney’ in Mercer Galleries, Harrogate.
Michael Brown in G12 will be showing large scale abstract paintings alongside an audience participatory piece of work exploring the question: What Is Art?
Lina Peterson will be exhibiting carved and painted wooden jewellery, including pendants and earrings in new colours in studio G5. There will also be textile brooches and mixed media pieces available. Hope to see you at our #hackneychristmas open studios weekend!
Cecilia Vargas (studio G16) will be showing recent experiments: painting, layering and collaging plastic sheeting on small format boards. She continues to use collage, monoprints and stencils. Geometry resurfaces again.
