I have worked with clay for some years and find its unique properties allow me
to be open and flexible in my working methods. I am interested in the form and
surface of objects, both man made and as they occur in the natural world.

My forms and ‘vessels’ have little utilitarian value but as objects of
contemplation they have some meaning.

I also produce film and video pieces with sound, especially music, as an integral
part of the work. The pieces explore the emotional intensity of living and being
in this beautiful but tragic world, with all its strange and unexpected outcomes.

Through my work I track my footsteps on the path of life. A path that all of us
must walk, in one way or another.
