Chocolate Factory artist Matthew Swift’s most recent pieces are ‘triptychs’ of sorts, comprising of a painting, as the central focus, along with a sculpture and a smaller work on paper. “These are investigations into psychological landscapes; outer representations of internal spaces. Geometric web-like structures form the visual foundation to the pieces. My hope is that there is an interplay between the three elements of each piece, suggesting memories, dreams and possibilities of space and structure.”
