Catherine Hennessy in Studio G1 is showing some new landscape drawings, and a work born from the IKEA catalogue, for Open Studios Weekend.
“My work is somewhere between painting and drawing, and I also make sculpture. I love drawing and I am currently making paintings abstracted from drawings of landscapes. I think of the little sculptures I make as drawings as well, but drawings made with materials in three dimensions.”
